Classes
At O'Keefe Firearms Training, we are certified USCCA, NRA and California Dept. of Justice Instructors and are focused on providing a relaxing, fun and safe shooting & learning experience with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We believe in building up a shooter, not the "Tacti-Cool" approach, with positive coaching and making our students feel comfortable. Safety is emphasized throughout training, this we will not budge on. With a variety of offerings to choose from, including non-shooting classes, we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us.
NRA Basic Pistol
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! The course is the first steps for you to obtain the proper certification for your concealed carry permit in some states. NRA Basic Pistol Course includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
NRA Basic Shotgun
This course is at least ten-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
NRA Basic Rifle
This course is at least 14 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
USCCA CCW
We teach you what you need to know, from the latest gun laws by state to strategies for avoiding danger in the first place. You’ll learn about safe gun-handling, the best practices for concealed carry, and the tools and gear you can depend on.
AZ CCW Class Only
We teach you what you need to know, from the latest gun laws by state to strategies for avoiding danger in the first place. You’ll learn about safe gun-handling, the best practices for concealed carry in AZ, and the tools and gear you can depend on.
NRA Personal Protection in Home
Take charge of your family’s safety. This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
USCCA Mass Shooter
Arm yourself with the proven tactics and materials you need to be prepared and confident to save lives–even in the worst case scenario.
USCCA Emergency First Aid
From learning how to assess a patient’s condition, to delving into proper treatment of chest and spinal injuries, broken bones, shock, serious bleeding, and more, this book will prepare you to help others when only minutes remain between life and death.
Payment Options:
We gladly accept U.S. Currency, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and discover. A deposit is required on all classes for material. There are no refunds for the class deposit. If you pay in full we will refund you the full price minus the $50 required deposit if notified 7 days prior to start of class. If you don't cancel prior to the 7 days we will reschedule you for another class. There is a button provided on the last page which you then sign up for the class and pay for the class in full or a deposit.
